ViroKiller PFA

Paraformaldehyde Based Gaseous Disinfectant

Designed for pre-chick placement disinfection

Mode of Action:

ViroKiller PFA is a paraformaldehyde-based formulation that, upon activation, releases formaldehyde gas, penetrating all areas of the poultry house — even inaccessible corners.
With its powerful biocidal activity, it eliminates a wide spectrum of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and spores.

ViroKiller OPP

Ortho-Phenylphenol Based Gaseous Disinfectant

For in-production use and viral respiratory control

Mode of Action:

ViroKiller OPP contains activated gaseous ortho phenylphenol, allowing safe use inside occupied poultry houses.
It reduces airborne and surface microbial loads, helping maintain flock respiratory health without the need for evacuation or mechanical spraying

  • Reduces microbial load in air and surfaces during production
  • Lowers mortality caused by respiratory viruses (notably ND & IB)
  • Simple to use — no spray, heat, or evacuation required

Result:

Recommendation:

Based on multiple field observations of ViroKiller OPP use under disease challenge, as well as practical on farm documentation, it is recommended, subject to the supervising farm veterinarian’s judgment, that in the following situations ViroKiller OPP may be used at half the standard dose:

  • during outbreaks of viral diseases such as avian influenza, Newcastle disease, Gumboro (IBD) and even Angara, or
  • to reduce the microbial load in the poultry house and help maintain flock vaccination titers

After activating the product, keep all air outlets (e.g. fans) closed for 20–15 minutes, and then resume normal ventilation
